The Aurora Igloos were so awesome and unique! We liked looking at the sky while lying in bed. We had 3 heaters and they kept us warm. As a family of 4, we had to get 2 igloos. Coffee machine in the shared bathroom was very good!

The hot tub was an excellent addition. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on our first night. The washing machine was also convenient to have. We visited the stables also which were beautiful and the friendliest dogs and cats met us. Will be back and would highly recommend this place.

Easy self-check-in, clean place with tasteful furnishing. The kitchen area had everything we needed, the hot tub was the best. Would definitely recomment and stay here again.

Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub is situated nearby Reykholt. This property offers access to a terrace. This holiday home has a patio, a living room and a flat-screen TV. The location was wonderful. It was so relaxing and cozy at the cabin. The hot tub was a wonderful touch after a long day and it was great to take in the views. We felt very comfortable and at home here. I would recommend this place over and over again. I loved reading the log book and seeing all the wonderful/special stays that other people had here as well.

Featuring garden views, Midholl guesthouse provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 48 km from Ljosifoss. Perfect location for visiting Golden Circkle and South Cost! The guesthouse is located ~1h drive from Reykjavik between Selfoss and Hella just 2-3 min drive from main road. Location is secluded enough to see northern lights yet not too far away from towns. Guesthouse is in rustic style, cozy, warm and very clean. Hosts were nice, welcoming and easy to reach.

Set in Hella and only 22 km from Thjofafoss, Afternoon Cottages offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden views. I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Iceland. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The cottage was super clean and had everything needed for our stay. Hopefully I will have a chance to visit it again :)
